Kyle had just celebrated his sixth birthday when we discovered he had a rare brain stem tumor (a diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma) on February 9, 2007. For the next two years we lived our lives at warp speed sharing adventures, laughs and smiles as we embraced every moment. Kyle Jacob Roger January 17, 2001 - February 7, 2009.

Hi Kyle,
We are so happy to hear how well your treatment is going! I'm so glad your eyes are working. I wish we could see you on the soccer fields this year. Josh is not playing soccer this season, he decided to play t-ball. I think we will have to go to a few games to cheer our old team on. Maybe we will see you there! You are such an inspiration to all of us.
Christen, you exude the essence of "strong women", no wonder where Kyle gets it from :-) I know we don't know each that well, but your still my green eyed sister friend! We think about your family a lot and are sending good thoughts and prayers your way.
Love,
Brenda, Bob, Josh & Johanna
Hi Kyle and Family:
We so enjoyed having Pizza Dinner Tonight with you at Ronald McDonald House! Thanks for playing with our daughter Kelsey. It allowed us to set and clean things up for all the folks staying there and we so appreciated it. She talked about you all the way home. She kept saying that you were "Sponge Bob" and she was "Gary". We were excited to logg on and see your Blog. Our best wishes and prayers are sent your way. Thanks for sharing your story with us. Paige, Brian, and Kelsey Ballard
