Good News....

After a long day at Seattle Children's watching Kyle lay motionless for his MRI, get poked for his i.v. (which is used for MRI contrast, a blood draw, and one of three chemos), swallow some pretty big pills, go through his paces for a clinic neuro exam, and drink chemo meds that taste beyond yucky, we can finally stop to catch our breath. Kyle's MRI showed his tumor is stable since beginning his new "chemo cocktail" and we feel truly blessed.

More tomorrow, but it is time for some sleep... Thank you for all the prayers and good thoughts today. The positive energy gives us strength....

Kyle,
I am so happy to hear your wonderful news. Yesterday I was at Mrs. Stevens' house and the first thing she showed me on her porch as I arrived was her pot of forget-me-nots. Unforgettable...that's what you are!
Love,
Mrs. Clark

Hi Kylie!

I'm glad you got to hear some good news this week! I'm so proud of you for being so brave and strong in Seattle. IV's and yucky medicine are NO FUN!!! Keep using all your good fighting power against that ugly brain bump. I know you can do it!

I love you so much.

Love, Lindsey

Hi Kyle!
We are so happy that you have such great news and that you continue to have such courage!! You are definitely the most courageous seven year old we know!!
We hope that you found the pictures and book (that you and Erik wrote) that we left by your garage a couple days ago. Cole and I went for a walk and he was really hoping you would be outside with Lulu and Cooper... we could hear Lulu and Cooper inside though and Ellie really wanted to play with them!!
Erik has another $1000 to take to Children's for Dr. Olson's Lab Research... He's hoping he can go with you again!
Love, Stephanie, Brian, Erik, and Cole

Hi Kyle,
Do you what? I opened my mail yesterday and there was a big picture of you and Erik and me on the last day of first grade that Erik had sent me! I LOVE it and I am going to take it to room 6 so I can look at it everyday! It was great seeing you and Nicolas at Ken and Sally's. Thinking of you everyday, Mrs. Stevens
