Today's a big day for us. Kyle has his first MRI since starting his new chemo protocol 6 weeks ago. If all goes as hoped he will start the third course of chemo after the MRI results are in and we start the cycle all over.
We have been very busy since our last post as summer is in full swing. We started things off with a fantastic trip to Lake Chelan with the Davis'. Kyle had been begging our friend Julie to take him wake boarding for months and so we went east of the mountains in search of the sun with the Davis' boat in tow! Kyle braved the very cold water and got up on the board two days in a row! Since then the weather has been amazing in Bellingham and the boys have spent an enormous amount of time at the pool. The boys and I just returned from a spontaneous trip to Kauai with my parents and sister...that is a hard place for us to leave! I will be posting photos and details of the trip in the next couple of days.
But for today, please help us by thinking good thoughts for Kyle. He loves to hear from all of you so don't be strangers! Send Kyle a message if you have a chance, it really makes him (and all of us) smile.

I wanted to send you some warm and sunny thoughts for today. We heard you were in Kauai and I have to say that I was totally jealous. If you ever want to go salmon fishing - call us up and we'd be glad to take you and your brother and maybe your Mom. There is always plenty of doughnuts, chips and pop (aka fishing food). Wow! a surprise trip to Kuaui?? Good for you! We've missed you at the pool and are looking forward to seeing you there soon. I didn't know today you had your MRI but for some reason you were right there at the top of my thoughts today and I decided to check your website.
